CHILD MARIAGES Why is the child marriage taking place?? Why doesn’t the society come out of this concept of getting the children married at an early stage? It is so sad…..Just think for a moment how would we feel if we were the victims of this social evil. But we are the lucky ones. Our fate favored us…But what about our brothers and sisters who are facing this social evil and are getting ensnared under it Child marriage is a violation against human rights. The most conventional way of child marriage is getting the girl child (who is below 18 years) married to an adult man. But in places like Rajasthan the parents of both the girl and boy child fixes the marriage and later on they are married in future. Suppose the family of a girl child is poor and they don’t have any value in the society. What they do is that they fix the marriage of their daughter to a boy child of a royal family, so that they can also get the regal status. This is the aim of child marriages in most places. In In
