Around 60% of deaths in India are caused due to the chronic or Non Communicable diseases. How does it affect the huge population of India and also mention how to prevent the increase of NCD. A non-communicable disease (NCD) is a medical condition which which may be defined as a non infectious or non-transmissible. The Construction dust causes asthma and other disease among 17-30% of the workers. Explain the effects of construction dust on human health and environment. Construction dust is a term given to the dust particles which are found on a construction site. It is a mix of soil and materials like the cement, silica, metal dust and asbestos. There are usually three types of construction dust – silica dust, non-silica dust and wood dust. Kids at Ambedkar Park to have a Go at Science

If things go as planned, the Ambedkar Park here will soon have a full – fledged Science park inside its compound. An amount of Rupees 15 lakhs has already been sanctioned by the State Tourism Department for the Science Park, which is being set up with a goal to educate the children and provide them infotainment. “We are planning to launch the Science Park to attract more visitors as well as to educate the kids. The project has already been sanctioned by the Tourism Department and the funds for the same have been allotted. The entire region of the Ambedkar Park will not be renovated. Only a portion will be used to set up the park,” said Paravoor Municipal Chairman, Valsala Prasanna Kumar. A journey to recognition - A view of Himalaya through the eyes of a great writer and his new book.

Mr. MK Ramachandran was unknown as a writer till he walked through the Himalayas . He has written three books, out of which the first one – “Uttarakhandilude Kailas Mansarovar Yatra”, won him the State Sahitya Academy Award in 2005. His second book – “Tapobhumi Uttarakhand”, made his name familiar in the Malayalam literary circles. His third book is based on his journey to Eastern Himalayas and Adi Kailas. Currently, he is working on his fourth book, “Devabhoomilude” and will be published by the end of this year. His first expedition to the Himalayas was guaranteed by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. His first book was written in the year 2001 but got published in 2003. He considers himself as the first person to travel through all the five phases of Himalaya . He believes that “True Sanyasis”, exist in the Himalayas . During his travel through the Himalayas , he discovered a Lama body which is 575 years old, at a place named Gue. He describes Himala
